ESKUAD
Eskuad is a Mobile Software Infrastructure for Field Operations. Field operators and workers across industries still predominantly use paper-based solutions to organize teamwork, collect data, and create reports. They often work in remote locations, spread out over large areas, without reliable internet service. A lack of digital tools built for this type of work has led to a stagnation in productivity over the last 20 years. As a result, these companies have to deal with bad reports, miscommunication, and inefficient planning, which can result in a 20% increase in operational costs. And in many cases, these problems can lead to catastrophic results, with huge liabilities.
They consistently return to tried and true paper solutions despite any new software or technologies released in the market. Understanding these requirements, along with our own field experience, led us to build the right digital solution for these users. A mobile-first, SaaS solution that makes it easy for field operators to organize their work, collect data, and generate reports. A solution designed specifically with field operability in mind, regardless of conditions.
Navèt 1804
Navèt 1804 is a unique, premium, small batch, hand crafted rum produced in Haiti whose mission is to help create self-sufficient communities that are supported through its rhum production, while helping Haiti to overcome stereotypes and introduce the premium aspects of the culture to the rest of the world.
The US rum market does not have a clear leader in the craft rum segment, and Navèt 1804 aims to position itself as such. Using traditional distilling methods directly from the sugarcane juice itself, as opposed to 97% of the rum market that uses molasses or sugar by products, 1804 will set itself apart by introducing Clarin to the market (Rum Agricole unique to Haiti). In addition, the story of The Founders is a key piece in the brand and solution, which cannot be duplicated.
POWERHOUSE
PowerHouse is developing a mobile, retractable, plug-and-play solar array — it’s solar in a box. Our technology disrupts the notion that solar power requires a large, expensive, bespoke installation such as a rooftop solar array. The challenges posed by rooftop installations impede many homeowners from adopting solar; furthermore, they render solar power completely inaccessible to renters, both residential and commercial. We strive to democratize solar by building an appliance for consumer use that can also scale for commercial and development applications. Our compact, mobile solar microgrid features the equivalent of a 4kW photovoltaic array, with the ease of plug-and-play functionality. Our unit is modular and can be scaled for demand, up to large coordinated deployments across parking lots or disused agricultural land. As a self-contained appliance, our unit is ideal not only for homes and businesses but also for areas with unreliable or nonexistent grid connectivity, lending itself to important applications in development and disaster relief. We envision a world of distributed, hyperlocal generation in which consumers and communities control their own energy destinies.
